What you can do to help
Sponsor a Square in the Park.
For a mere £5 you can sponsor 50 m2 of the park, receive a certificate showing where in the park your square is and have your name added to our list of supporters on the website.
Send a cheque for £5 (payable to Friends of Kirkgate Park) to
Susan Bathgate
42 High Street
Kinross
KY13 8AN
Telephone: 01577 864742
Have a Party for the Park
Invite your friends for dinner or a party or BBQ at your house. Tell them that it is a party for Kirkgate Park and ask for a donation. Have fun and raise money at the same time.
Get in touch with us and we’ll provide the invitations or click here to print your own. We will add your name and those of your friends to our list of supporters.
It will be fun and doesn’t take a lot of organising. Maybe your children would like to do something similar with their friends.
Look out for us at events around Kinross in the next few months. Check our Events page for details of what’s happening in Kirkgate Park.

This is a fundraising strategy that involves friends, food and fun! It works in the following way: One person puts on a meal / cheese and wine party / nibbles, etc, for a set number of people. Each of the people attending will be asked to pay a pre-determined fee (e.g. £5 or £10, depending on the nature of the event), which will be donated to the charity. Each of the people attending the event will do so on the understanding that some of them will then go away and hold an event for others.
